Since 1993 Coast Capital Partners has provided business development advice and capital to small and mid-size business enterprises ("SMEs").

Our capital has been provided to over 50 businesses through a variety of structures, including senior and subordinated secured loans, bridge loans, convertible loans, equity infusions, specific project capital, through the purchase of accounts receivable, participation in loans, purchase order funding and other similarly unique opportunistic placements of capital. Our capital placements have been directed to companies across a wide range of industries, but we are most often helpful to a company that has an established product(s) or service already in the market.

Our strategy has been to use our operational experience and insights, along with our own capital in many instances, to assist companies through unique challenges. Often these situations require a thin senior management group, or an investment group that has come into control, to navigate a "transitional" challenge relating to an enterprise whether that be expansion, contraction or, at times, the company's existence. Experienced perspective and skills are key at these points in time, and we have brought counsel to those situations. Capital is often needed in these circumstances and we have provided funding where traditional sources of capital are either unwilling to assist, or if willing, too slow to flow to meet the challenge or opportunity.

As such, we will try to bring capital and expertise to assist a company:

•	Through an early stage of development;
•	Through periods of internal growth or contraction;
•	Through introduction or acquisition of new products or services;
•	Through recapitalizations or corporate restructurings; or
•	Through a buy-out of a partner or investor

WITH OUR EFFORTS, AND FREQUENTLY THROUGH THE USE OF OUR CAPITAL, WE TRY TO BRING A COMPANY TO A POINT WHERE THE TRANSITIONAL BUSINESS CIRCUMSTANCES FACING THE ENTERPRISE IS SUCCESSFULLY MET, THEREBY ALLOWING BUSINESS TO BE CONTINUED AND PROFITABILITY REALIZED
